Winter CSA Baskets & Big Goal Update

For those of you who live close to Ottawa Farm Fresh, did you know..

You have some choice when it comes to what's in your CSA Winter Bounty basket... IF you chose pick up at the farm over home delivery?

We like freedom and flexibility and that is why when you sign up for a CSA 6 week, bi-weekly Winter Bounty basket (which starts in November) AND pick up at the farm we will have a 'Mini-Mart" style set-up for your weekly basket. This means that when you recieve your veggies basket for the week you can trade out one or two veggie you don't need for more of what you want!

Say, you've got enough garlic at home, no worries. Trade it out for potatoes or carrots or whatever else we've harvested and have on-hand.

Big Goal Update

As we shared with you last week, our goal is to feed 200 families this fall & winter with our 6 weeks bi-weekly Winter Bounty Baskets and we asked you to help us spread the news.

Well, you really came through. Thank you! We were touched by the out-pour of support and kind words.

We now have 74 CSA Winter Bounty Basket families! That's almost 40% of our goal!

--> If you didn't get a chance to spread the love about our organic veggies yet, no worries there is still time.

Here are three ways to share your enthusiasm and help us reach our goal:

1. Forward this email on to your friends and family in the Ottawa area. Let them know you've tried our veggies and they're awesome. (well, feel free to describe us using your own favorite adjective. We don't want to put words in your mouth, just great veggies!)

2. Post on Facebook, Instagram or your local community listserv letting your circle know about us! To make things super simple, you'll find an email template you can use below for this purpose (Special thanks to the super client who shared it with us!).

3. Put up one of our "CSA Winter Bounty Baskets" posters at work, at your local coffee shop, community board...etc. Just hit reply to this email and Jonathan will drop poster(s) off at your door next week (or we can send you a digital poster version if you prefer)!
