What is CSA
A CSA basket is a subscription for fresh, seasonal vegetables that you pick up directly from the Farm. By signing up early, you help us plan and grow the crops for the upcoming season. In return, you get a selection of handpicked produce, fresh from the Farm.
The journey of that first sweet cherry tomato begins months before summer. In winter, we plan, seed, and prepare for the season ahead, working hard to bring you the best harvest. Your early investment lets us do what we love—grow amazing food for the community—and you get to enjoy the results!
How does this work?
It’s as easy as 1 -2 -3- 4!
1. Choose the size that’s right for you and your family
Mini - 1-2 people
Small - 2-4 people
Medium - 3-5 people
Large - 5+ people
2. Choose the season length and number of baskets you would like, and then register and pay online. You can also sign up in the Farm Store if you’d prefer.
3. Pick up your share at the Farm Store at 2811 Ramsayville Rd. anytime during our seasonal opening hours.
4. Take your bounty home and marvel at its beauty and deliciousness!

Every week your CSA basket will be filled with a specially curated selection of organic, Farm grown, seasonal vegetables that are at absolute peak freshness.
We grow more than 50 varieties of vegetables across the Farm. Everything from early spring radishes and greens, to summer tomatoes and peppers, and then beautiful beets and those sweet and crunchy carrots we are developing quite the reputation for. As the seasons shift, so does your basket, offering you a one-of-a-kind opportunity to truly embrace the rhythm of seasonal eating.

See something you’re not fond of? No problem!
We offer a ‘free choice’ model – meaning, you get to choose what’s in your basket. Don’t like kale? Swap it for something else. Want extra tomatoes? Done. We’ll offer suggestions, but the choice is yours—within your price bracket, of course.

Do you deliver?
We do not. We have decided that our focus is best spent in designing and producing Ottawa’s most flexible and customisable CSA, and are therefore foregoing home delivery at this time.
Do I lose my baskets if I miss a week?
Absolutely not! We’ve got you covered.
Travelling a lot? Have a garden of your own? Crazy schedule? No problem. At registration you can choose how many weeks you want to skip. No questions, no hassles. Simply track your baskets in our check-in binder – it’s as easy as picking up your favourites each week!
If you're not sure how many weeks you'll be away, no problem, you can always pick up multiple baskets in one visit to get back on track!
Do I have to pay all at once?
Definitely not. We want our CSA to be accessible to as many people as possible so we offer flexible payment options.
Choose between paying in one instalment, or multiple equal instalments, whichever works best for you. An admin charge applies for the instalment option.
