Succeeding at CSA: Your Guide to a Bountiful Season

As we head into the third week of the Summer CSA season we have a few tips to help you make the 2024 CSA season your most successful ever!

Start as you mean to go on - don’t get behind

As we kick off the season, we encourage you to stay on top of your CSA collections. Falling behind can lead to feeling overwhelmed with an abundance of vegetables later on. If you ever find yourself needing assistance or have questions, reach out to us early. We're here to support you throughout the season.

Making coming regularly a habit

To make the most of your CSA share, consider setting a weekly reminder to pick up your veggies. Our CSA contents are shared in the newsletter every Thursday morning, making it convenient for your meal planning and ensuring you receive the freshest produce.

Read the newsletter weekly

Keep an eye on our weekly newsletters! They're packed with tips, recipes tailored to the season's bounty, and updates on what's available in your share. Our goal is to help you savour every bite and make cooking with fresh ingredients a delight.

Take advantage of the online recipe database

We've curated a collection of recipes that highlight the best of what you'll receive in your CSA box. Visit our online recipe database and simply click on the vegetable you want to cook with – you'll find plenty of delicious ideas to inspire your meals.

Understand the CSA Terms & Conditions

Before diving into the season, please familiarise yourself with our CSA Terms & Conditions. This document outlines what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. CSA is more than just a purchase; it's a partnership between you as a member and us as farmers. Operating on slim margins, once you sign up, we immediately invest those funds into growing your vegetables. This makes any requests for refunds or changes challenging for us, both logistically and financially. While we strive to accommodate changes to ensure your satisfaction, each adjustment can impact us significantly—whether through the loss of already grown vegetables or the additional labour required to make changes.

Your understanding and support are crucial in helping us maintain the integrity and sustainability of our farm operations. Thank you for being a part of our CSA community and for your commitment to local, sustainable agriculture. CSA:

Community and Agricultural Revolution

Joining our CSA isn't just about receiving fresh produce; it's about supporting a revolutionary agricultural model that connects farmers and consumers directly. It builds relationships, fosters community, and ensures a sustainable future for local farming. We're proud to be part of this movement and grateful to have you on this journey with us. We look forward to a season filled with delicious vegetables and shared experiences with you. If you have any questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out.
