LATEST FROM THE FARM — Winter baskets

The leaves have changed colour, the temperatures are dropping, and soon enough there will be snow on the ground. That can all mean only one thing - Winter CSA is beginning! The first Winter CSA pick up is this Wednesday, Nov 3 from 2-7pm right here on the Farm.

When you sign up for the Ottawa Farm Fresh Winter Abundance CSA you will receive a weekly CSA basket of hearty winter vegetables to keep you warm and cozy through until New Year.

When the sun is high in the sky and the fields are bursting with summer abundance it’s hard to believe that winter is just around the corner. Here at the Farm preparations are well underway for the oncoming cold weather; the autumn crops are planted and soon enough we’ll start filling up the cold room with hearty root crops!

We've got vision.. and a goal. Can we ask you a favour? Would you share us with your family, friends and community?  We have set a goal to feed 200 families this fall & winter with our 6 weeks bi-weekly Winter Bounty Baskets and we CAN do it with your help!  It truly takes a village to grow a farm and we couldn't be happier that you're a part of our farm community.
